Our Classes
We help you get your body back. You might be dealing with pain or have an injury or condition you want to manage. We use fascia release, mobility, strength and of course, Pilates.
When it comes to Pilates, we are really, REALLY good. So good in fact, that we can easily move in and out of the system while making sure you understand how all your movement fits together. We base all our work on the archival system of Pilates exercise, to make you strong, resilient and agile.
We know that we need to give you more than just playing on the equipment - Joseph Pilates knew this too. FACT: Did you know that JP used kettlebells, dumbbells and Indian clubs in his studio? Slo, progressive overload (weight training) is so important for all of us to maintain our quality of LIFE for as long as possible.
Whether you are coming for movement recovery, to supplement your training and sport or to keep doing LIFE really well, we know that Pilates at Go Slo is for you.
Private Training
Private Training offers one-on-one support tailored entirely to you. These sessions are ideal if you’re managing pain, returning from injury, or wanting to deepen your movement practice with focused, individual guidance.
Your instructor designs a program that evolves with you, using a blend of Apparatus and Matwork to support your goals. The private setting allows space to explore movement patterns in depth, receive hands-on feedback, and move at a pace that respects your body.
Private Training can stand alone or complement group classes, supporting strength, confidence, and ease in movement both inside and outside the studio.
Pilates Semi-Private
Semi-Private sessions offer a balance between personalised programming and the shared energy of a small group. With a limited number of participants, each person follows an individualised plan while benefiting from the structure and rhythm of group practice.
These apparatus-based sessions use a range of Pilates equipment to support strength, mobility, and progression. Your program evolves over time, with hands-on guidance and thoughtful adjustments to ensure movement remains purposeful and responsive to your body.
Semi-Private training provides consistency, accountability, and connection, while still allowing space for individual focus and long-term development.
Matwork
Matwork at Go Slo Studio is where functional movement meets mindful practice. These classes explore foundational movements such as squats, lunges, push and pull patterns, bending, and mobility for the hips, shoulders, and spine. Locomotion and gentle inversions are introduced at a pace that respects your body’s natural intelligence.
Props are used to both support and challenge your practice, allowing movement to feel accessible yet progressive. The 50-minute format prioritises quality over quantity, giving you time to refine technique, build awareness, and move with intention.
Matwork builds a strong foundation for everyday movement, supporting strength, mobility, and a deeper connection to your body.
Mobility
Mobility isn't just stretching. It's your ability to actively control your joints through their full range of motion.
These 50-minute group sessions focus on functional mobility, release and stretch-based work. We use controlled joint rotations, progressive stretching, and build active range of motion. This is the kind of training that creates strong, fluid joints for the long term.
Your nervous system is the gatekeeper of movement. Even if your tissues have the capacity for range, your nervous system might restrict it if it doesn't trust that you can control it. Mobility training teaches your body to be strong in those end ranges, not just passively flexible.
