What do we offer?

We are the best performance and longevity studio around. Using breathwork, fascia release, mobility, strength and of course, Pilates.

When it comes to Pilates, we are really, REALLY good. So good in fact, that we can easily move in and out of the system while making sure you understand how all your movement fits together. We base all our work on the archival system of Pilates exercise, to make you strong, resilient and agile.

We know that we need to give you more than just playing on the equipment - Joseph Pilates knew this too. FACT: Did you know that JP used kettlebells, dumbbells and Indian clubs in his studio? Slo, progressive overload (weight training) is so important for all of us to maintain our quality of LIFE for as long as possible.

Whether you are coming for movement recovery, to supplement your training and sport or to keep doing LIFE really well, we know that Pilates at Go Slo is for you.

Pilates

    • Are you someone who wants to work with specialised programming?

    • Support to move with one of our expert movement teachers.

    • Work primarily on the apparatus.

    • 55 minutes per class.

    • 2 - 3 times per week.

    We love this for you. It means you can learn wildly better habits from the very beginning.

    I’m not good at commitment, is this a problem?

    In our opinion? Yes. Commitment and consistency in your movement practice are so, so important when learning to overcome obstacles and go after your goals.

    I have some complex injuries, can I still attend?

    Yes, you can. We work with your allied health practitioners to get the best movement care for you. We are used to working with complex injuries and are honoured for you to put your trust in us.

Matwork

    • Are you someone who wants to level up your resilience and delve deep into understanding your own movement quality?

    • Do you want to work on skills and drills for complex movement?

    • Do you need more functional strength training in your life?

    • Do you work well in a community of awesome people?

    • FUN FACT: Joseph Pilates used the Matwork as “homework” in his original studio.

  • Classes centred around functional movements including (but definitely not limited to):

    • Squats

    • Lunges

    • Push/pull movements

    • Bending

    • Mobility (hip, shoulder, spine)

    • Locomotion

    • Inversions

    Classes limited to 6 people.

    • 50 minutes per class.

    • 2 - 3 times per week.

Private

    • Are you someone who wants personal attention to build up resilience and delve deep into understanding your own movement quality?

    • Do you have an injury that is preventing you from going to class?

    • Do you work well in a supported one-to-one environment?

    • Do you like to workshop, discuss and build on ideas you learn?

  • One-to-one time with your teacher to work on:

    • areas of pain and how to manage in a movement environment

    • building up tolerance and resilience to movement

    • learning how to be confident in your own body and how it moves

    • workshop ideas and concepts learned in class

    • advanced movement concepts covered in depth for your body

    • 1 hour per week

    • Can be taken alongside class (preferrable)

  • $150 per hour (single Private)

    I don’t like going to group class. Is this a problem?

    No, it’s not a problem. While we do think group class is great for self-learning, as long as you stay consistent in your Private training, you will gain more and more experience in your own movement.
